I wanted to give this 5 stars because my daughter and I loved it so much but there were some mistakes that made it past editing that shouldn't have。 One example is the element nitrogen was labeled as Ni。 There were a couple mistakes like that in the book which was a bit disappointing。 Overall all though， there is a ton of good information that is explained in easy to understand ways。 I wanted to give this 5 stars because my daughter and I loved it so much but there were some mistakes that made it past editing that shouldn't have。 One example is the element nitrogen was labeled as Ni。 There were a couple mistakes like that in the book which was a bit disappointing。 Overall all though， there is a ton of good information that is explained in easy to understand ways。 。。。more

It is so much fun to read this together with my child。 I was getting tired of reading the same old kid stories， and this has hundreds of new pages - enough diversity to even keep me having fun too。 They simplify the concepts well and with relevant photos and illustrations

This was vast in its scope and nearly perfect in its selections BUT the illustrations were lacking。 Photos were exceptional but illustrations were not great。 Recommended nevertheless。
